Syncing video to the beat in Premiere pro!

Editing music videos in Adobe Premiere Pro is super easy. Syncing your clips to the beat of your track, is a lot more difficult. That is if you don’t know Premiere’s feature to do it automatically. First, drag the song into the playlist. Then move to the first frame and let the song play. On ever beat that you hear, press ‘M’ on your keyboard. This will set it a marker. See it as tapping your feet to a song but instead tap on the ‘M’ key.

When all the markers are set, go to the project window and order your clips in the order that you want them to be in the video. Then select them all and click the automate to sequence button. Here you can change some settings and once you click ok, the clips will be synced to the markers. Awesome, right?

Create custom shortcuts in adobe premiere pro

For certain things in Premiere, you need to do quite a few actions. For example creating nests, adding a frame hold, changing keyframe interpolation and so much more. Did you know that the ‘F keys’ on your keyboard are not even used for anything in Premiere? You can literally add shortcuts for almost anything in Premiere, so don’t be afraid to play around with it and save it as a preset!
