What up you guys?! I hope you are having a creative day or maybe even a week and if not, this weeks tutorial can definitely give you some inspiration. You are probably already know we do a lot of music videos in our Copy Cat Friday tutorials. But this time we are doing something completely different. This week we found a Fashion trend on Instagram that we really liked and had to try for ourselves. And of course like we always do, we had to take it to the next level. The trend we are tackling today is the Gucci Challenge, where models carry severed heads on the catwalk.

As you can see, they really carried heads with them. Don’t panic they were created with silicon by really talented doll makers or Special Effects Props makers. We don’t have that kind of budget or the skills to carry around realistic silicon heads of ourselves. So we did it in Post Prodcution, with some simple After Effects tricks. But did you know they already did this in 1898! And now you’re wondering, how is it possible! Well by a simple mask, but then on the original film strip. In those days they had to be creative with their special effects. They didn’t have computers and After Effects, so they did everything with clever filming and set design.
