As you saw in the beginning of the video, I’m the new guy, Gilles! I’m a twenty-four year old visual content creator who recently started working at Cinecom. Fun fact: I went to the same filmschool as Jordy, and Lorenzo & me were in the same class together in college-university. What a coincidence, right?! I have about 4-5 years of experience in the professional content creation scene, both national as international. I love traveling, getting to know new people & cultures and discovering new places. I’m also a huge fan of geeky stuff. Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are some of my biggest interests.
Okay but enough about me, let’s talk about the new Copy Cat Friday. As you all know, we are huge fans of Zach King, for those who don’t know him… Shame on you! We already made a couple of videos in the past where we explained the effects that Zach King used in his videos. He probably noticed that because he seems very angry at us. He made a new insane infinite loop effect and we had a hard time figuring out how it was made. It took Yannick three times to finally get the effect right, at first he thought it was actually really simple but he quickly realized it was actually really hard. After two more attempts, learning from the mistakes from the previous once and after brainstorming with Jordy (who also had some advice from mistakes that he learned from in the past), Yannick finally succeeded in recreating the Infinite Loop Effect. Lots of parenting and layer control, that’s the trick for accomplishing a good result. Good luck trying this yourself!

Hi Cinecom
Hi Jordy and Yannick
I dont really understand after eight layer (in video is the after 6m 43s )
Also at 7m 31s in the video i can see we have 16 layer, but i cant see clearly the parent & link, which one connect to which one.
could you guys make it clearly for me to see, just a picture with the parent&link longer is wonderful.
If you dont mind you guy could one more picture of timeline is great.
Im already become member in skillshare from the link of you guy.
I dont know you guys reply me or not, but im still edit and working on this effect 3 days already .
Have great day you guys.
Love the effect and your video.
Did you know the American ABCTV series Modern Family has used this effect in their show open for ten years?
I don’t know what software they used, probably Avid since it’s a network show.
Super nice effect! But I don’t really get it wich 2 shots you need for throwing with the ping ball! Could you explain this?
