“I am… Iron Man!”
A couple of weeks ago, Jordy and Yannick had to recreate the Iron Man HUD effect for Cinebattle. Unfortunately they both didn’t do great because of a lack of time. So that’s why we decided to recreate it for Copy Cat Friday! Did you know that Iron Man (AKA Tony Stark) was created in 1963?! He’s been a comic book character for years until Robert Downey Jr made him come alive on the silver screen in 2008.
The Iron Man movie was the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he also ended it in the movie Avengers: Endgame where Iron Man said the icon words “I am Iron Man”. Tony Stark is actually not the only hero who suits up and uses a HUD in his helmet. War Machine, Rescue, Iron Lad, Iron heart and Spider-Man also use them.

The Iron Man HUD is actually not that difficult to recreate. It’s important to have the right camera angle, the right light and of course an editing program. Now let your creativity explode and start creating your own HUD’s! Maybe you can even play games in your helmet!?
