Another week and another chance to be creative. We know how much you like Premiere Pro tutorials. So we decided to look for hidden features in Premiere Pro. These tips aren’t world shocking, , but can really help you with your editing workflow. The Features that we are showing you vary from auto save settings to audio tools that really save time. We really went deep into the caves of Premiere Pro.
Tutorials on how to improve you workflow are very popular and can come in handy. One of the most useful tips to make your workflow faster is hotkeys. When I edit, I’m constantly using hotkeys. Definitely when doing my montage and I need to cut up everything. I programmed the regular Cut, the Trim to playhead and the ripple trim to playhead next to each other. This makes my cutting super fast and simple. If you want to know how you can set your own hotkeys, check out our tutorial about it.
Another tip I have for you to speed up your workflow, is using some external gear. I my case it’s a Loupedeck, that I use for color grading. And I must say that really improves my speed and color grading work. The cool thing about this Loupedeck is that you can also program other keys to it, that aren’t color grading related. For example, I set two keys to do an ease out and an ease in. This saves me a lot of time. If you want to learn more about color grading with the Loupedeck, check out our video tutorial.
