Match the color of two shots in Premiere Pro

It can get difficult to match the colors of two different shots. I remember how frustrating it was when I started filming.
But basically it’s nothing more than looking and comparing. You need to look at different elements of your shots. Like the sky, the grass, the clothing of your subject, the skin tones, etc.
Once you can compare and adjust the correct levels, you’re good to go.
And then there’s the correct order of doing your color corrections. The three biggest things are color temperature, exposure and saturation. But all of these parameters will influence each other. Therefore it’s important to change these settings in the correct order.
We’ll start with the exposure and contrast as that will influence the saturation. Next we’ll change the saturation as that will influence the color temperature. And finally we can change the color temperature.
In this video tutorial we’ll work on a typical long shot and medium shot. The long shot was recorder with the Canon 5D mark II and the medium on the Panasonic Lumix GH4.

Very good video, I particularly liked your dual program monitor set up at the beginning. I think you could have used either more exposure or a more fine tune adjustment of your curves to lighten her skin tone in the final image. I also think if you had used Lumetri scopes you could have a achieved a better result, and or a quicker result.
