Recreating 3 effects from ‘Human’ by Rag ‘n’ Bone in Adobe Premiere Pro. Learn how to create amazing transitions and hyper-lapses in tutorial video for your next music video.

What’s up you guys, I hope you enjoyed the last Creative Tuesday video about 5 Video hacks? Because it’s already time for a new and awesome Copy Cat Friday video. Currently there isn’t a cool trend going around so we decided to check out what you all suggested. That’s how we decided to go for Rag’n’Bone man with his song human. And of course it has cool effects that we can recreate, otherwise it would be a dull Copy Cat Friday. These effects are stop motion transitions that are used to rapidly switch between faces or to do a cool zoom in effect.

In the past we also did some stop motion techniques with food, but this is somewhat different yet similar. With previous video we had a fixed camera and took pictures of  how the objects or subject would move. For the video of today, we let our subject stand still and then move the camera. Also this time we aren’t going to make photos, we are going to film everything. In post production we can then either cut out frames or we can use the posterize time effect from premiere pro. This is an effect that reduces the frame rate of your video and thus cutting out frames automatically. Which of course makes it a lot easier and faster for us and you.

One last thing I want to say and recommend. The faithful reader of this blogs, already know that I’m a huge fan of stop motion films. I recommended multiple films from this genre like Kubo and the two strings, Fantastic mr Fox and so much more. But I recently saw Isle of Dogs, a super good and funny stop motion from Wes Anderson. If you have time and like cool cinematography all done in stop motion, definitely check out Isle of Dogs movie!
