I'm a graphic designer at a horizontal agency. I have a BFA in Animation and an AS in Graphic Design. I have been tasked with video editing and motion graphics/animation at work based on my education and have wanted to push myself in motion graphics as it seems like the logical intersection of my two majors. However, while working on a project recently, I learned that I needed to set a new foundation when it comes to After Effects. I was taught puppet animation while getting my bachelors, so I was exposed to AE, but in a very limited way. I decided to get off my butt, get on SkillShare, and reacquaint myself with this software so that when I have a question I know how to ask it. Jordy's teaching style is so wonderfully silly. I felt as though I was getting a proper overview, in digestible pieces, while laughing and learning practical skills while working on fun projects. Jordy is also an attractive dude, which certainly doesn't hurt. haha! I will definitely be following whatever your group produces as I continue to bolster my skills. The class I took is highly rated for a reason. I just hope you continue to delve deeper into AE, if you can, because you know how to reach someone, like me, who was nervous about being able to learn After Effects. Now I believe I can do it!

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say you were one of my top 3 editors worldwide. I enjoyed watching your courses and your Youtube videos because you taught me something that not many people can do, and that is to make editing fun and entertaining. Of course, it gets boring sometimes, but I enjoyed them often.

Jordy Vandeput is one of the most excellent teachers I have ever seen, he is the one who makes me love video editing and see it as a creative process and not boring anymore, for example before I took (premiere pro Lumetri: color correct& color grade like a pro ) I thought that I know how to edit the colors but after taking it I realized that I was a joke at editing the colors I wasn't using Lumetri Scopes, I really thankful for Cinecom❤️❤️❤️(as always stay creative )

The lessons are very fun and easy to understand. I really wanna learn that skills but I live in undeveloped town in Myanmar. There is no class that teach video editing like that. At first, I found some YouTube channels but I didn't understand because I have no basic. Thanks Sir Jordy. By you thank, now I knew a lot of things about video editing and can create. "I saw a video of cinecom on YouTube and from there I came to know about Jordy back in 2018.
and from then I started following him and enrolled in his courses, The way he explains thing are very straight and easy to understand.
I can't express how much his Courses and YouTube tutorials helped me in my video editing carrer.

"honestly i always struggled with the pacing of many YouTube tutorials regarding After Effects, Premiere and Unreal Engine, but found the pacing, content and useful show cases of the things been shown in the course to be extremely useful and informative.

If it is a online class I being a lazy person will never finish it because I mostly will sleep the moment the lecturer starts to bore. But Jordy is the best online teacher I could get never slept in his class because the way he delivers the classes is awesome he makes sure we are taught in a entertaining way. He could also teach a class on how to conduct online video lectures it was that good. The Story telling he used made me remember almost every concept he taught

You can't be just a talking head, spewing out a bunch of information and instructions, especially online. You have to be engaging so people want to watch, especially with technical things. Jordy is all that and more - entertaining, engaging and still "spews" out great information and instructions. I want to take classes from him I don't even want to learn!
