Live action anime
Everybody loves anime, especially Attack on Titan. And it’s becoming more popular then ever, so it’s of course normal that big Hollywood productions jump on the trend and that means live action versions of our beloved anime series.
Now like you can imagine, this can be a good and bad thing. Let’s say that the live action recreation of the Avatar: the last Airbender wasn’t the biggest success when it comes to recreating the Anime. But you also have good examples like Rurouni Kenshin, the live action version of Samurai X.

Attack on titan
Now Attack on Titan is super popular and it also has a live action version. But again it isn’t the best work out there. It’s really hard to translate a drawn person or action to something real. So everything visual effects related is personal interpretation of the VFX artist. How a Titan really looks, nobody really knows. So again it’s all depending on a persons imagination.

That’s the same for magical powers. Nobody in the world has them, so there is no standard for the look of magic. You have complete creative freedom when creating a magical effect. Now this can be a blessing because your creation can’t be compared to anything. However it can also hinder you as you don’t have a reference to start with.
