instagram Creators
These past years more and more VFX artists are turning to Social Media platforms like Instagram to showcase their work. Its way more shareable on there than YouTube and we love that! You see A LOT of creative people coming up with cool effects and mind-bending videos.
alex ezorsky
The first effect we did is of Alex Ezorsky. Originally we wanted to recreate the swimming pool effect, which is also the same effect on how we discovered him. But “sadly” he already created a tutorial himself which I can recommend to check out if you’re interested. So we did this ball effect which also loop infinite. From his Instagram page you can see he quite likes these type of effects because the reflection/infinite loop comes back a lot.

Kevin Lustgarten
I don’t think I need to introduce this guy, he already has a great following and his videos get millions of views. His videos even appeared on tv! And next to this also got listed as 2019’s Best Creator of the Year. First we wanted to recreate his wakeboarding in traffic video which got a lot of traction the past weeks. But again he also recreated that effect so we opted for an older but still amazing effect.

Curlykidlife AKA Duncan Evans
Last but not least is this creative mastermind. One of my favorite videos he has ever done is these fake Behind The Scenes from Disney. Its super creative and so funny to watch! He’s work goes from straight up illusion type of effect to working himself in existing scenes. We chose to recreate his Stretching limbs effect a fun and easy effect. This effect you can even use in different situations and make funny sketches with. So don’t forget to tag us on Instagram when you create your own version!

Storyblocks Video
This video was sponsored by Storyblocks. It’s an enormous online library full of high quality HD and 4K stock clips, After Effects templates, collections and much more. We use the library on a weekly base to download overlay effects, like smoke, dust particles, flares,… You can download an unlimited amount of clips for only one price per year so it’s super useful to have.
