Do not fear, Wonder Woman is here!
We recently saw the trailer of the new Wonder Woman movie ‘Wonder Woman: 1984‘. And we got inspired to make this video about the Lasso of Truth that she carries around with her.

Did you know that Wonder Woman AKA Princess Diana of Themyscira was originally sculpted by her mother, Queen Hippolyta but that the writers rewrote her origin in 2011. She then became the daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus.
She has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, … She’s also a master in hand-to-hand combat and has an accelerated healing factor. She can fly, has indestructible bracelets, a tiara that she can throw as a projectile, a sword, a shield and a lasso of truth.
So she is obviously a woman that you don’t want to mess with, that’s why we did our very best to recreate the Lasso of Truth effect.

Wonder Woman with Lasso of Truth

Honestly, I’m not much of a fan of DC Comics and the DC Movie Universe, but I do love their animated series.
I’m more of a Marvel fan and they tried to create a “wonder woman” for themselves, I bet you know her too… She’s called Miss Marvel AKA Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers!
Unlike Diana, she is not a demigoddess, nor is she equipped with a sword, shield or lasso. Instead she is a regular human, but when she got in an explosion with an alien her blood merged together and she became the superhero we all know!
I like the fact that there are super heroines, they are role models for our modern day women.

What do you think of the Wonder Woman movie and more importantly, what do you think of our recreation of the Lasso of Truth?
