Create an endless zoom effect inspired by the film Limitless (2011) in this Adobe After Effects tutorial. Learn how to combine multiple shots and animate them to create an infinite zoom.

What I thought to be an easy week turned out very hectic. Every Wednesday we start with Copy Cat Friday, scouting the web for trending videos. Unfortunately there were no new music videos or films that included an interesting effect for us. So, we had to start looking into the past. Usually we start by browing through the comments we receive on our videos. Many people make their requests there, and that’s how we finally came by a great effect!

Thursday, we could start shooting. Unfortunate again, Lorenzo got sick and so me and Yannick had to do it alone. On top of that, Yannick had an appointment with the hospital on Friday. So yeah, that has been my week ?

Nevertheless, it all came to a good end and we’re very happy with the result we got. The zoom effect is actually a technique inspired by an old tutorial video by Andrew Kramer. It’s a very clever finding, which makes the whole process super easy. Anyone can recreate this infinite zoom!
