Hello boys and girls, it’s time for another inspirational and educational video. It is Copy Cat Friday. Like you know, we like to scour the internet for trends and awesome effects. And that’s exactly what we did for today’s video and we found something very interesting to recreate, the new video clip from Wiley named Boasty. For the people who already saw the music video can confirm that it’s full with cool transitions and is really well made. So you can already guess what we are recreating this week. Some awesome transitions of course.

Transitions come in all forms and shapes and are always popular in the film making world. These days there is an overload of transitions packs with thousands of pre made transitions. These are easy and fun to use, but the problem is that everybody feels the same way. So they are quite overused and losing their power. These transitions are of course all post production transitions, but as you probably saw in one of our older videos, there are also ways to create in-camera transitions. With these in-camera transitions you can really let the creativity flow and create stunning ways to blend shots together. However you are more restrict in the variety of transitions when using the in-camera transitions.

For the transitions we are recreating today, we combined some practical in-camera effects with post production. So you can say it’s the best of both worlds. And that is being creative, combining two ways of doing something to a new way.
