Run fast like Quicksilver, throw your shield like Captain America and teleport like Nightcrawler. Learn how to create these 3 fast and easy visual effects in this Adobe Premiere Pro tutorial.

Aah the holidays are finally over and I must say, I’m glad. Christmas and New year are fun, but I always overeat myself. It’s all just to delicious, so I can’t help myself. That’s why I decided to run and I mean run really fast. Like super human fast. You can almost say like a super hero. Sorry was that a bad intro? Well for this Copy Cat Friday we are recreating 3 Super hero visual effects straight out of a Hollywood movie, all done in Premiere Pro.

After a long weekend and Jordy doing the Creative Tuesday  on his own. It’s time again to create an awesome Copy Cat Friday. With the new trailer release from Captain Marvel and The Avengers: End Game, supers re trending again. Maybe again isn’t the best word, because they are always popular. Every month there is a new super hero movie coming out or dominating the Box Office. That’s why we have to create this video and give everyone the chance to be a hero.

Captain America – Fake 3D Effect

In this video we are showing you how to teleport like Night crawler from the X-men. For this teleport effect we are creating a shock-wave from a practical effect. This Shock-wave is free to download through the link below. So you can choose to make it yourself or to use ours. For the rest of the Super hero effects you have to watch the movie. And if you want to learn even more Super hero powers, then definitely check out our other super hero tutorials.

  1. Regarding the nightcrawler effect, in your example, the effect is in front and with a constant background. In the movie, it is from behind with moving people in front. How do you overcome that?
