How to create a glitch logo reveal in Premiere pro?
It’s actually not that hard and completely changeable to any logo you want. First we need a logo of course, so import your logo into Premiere Pro. Use a png file because that has a transparent background.
Reposition and rescale it to your likings and then nest it, this is a necessary thing to do for when you’re working effects and motion graphics since Premiere screws things up otherwise. Next you use the essential graphics panel to create shapes, we went for rectangles. Animate these to your likings but make them dissappear.
Then duplicate the graphics layer and invert the animation so that it goes outwards. Then use the new duplicate layer as a track matte. So place the track matte key effect on your logo layer and use the duplicate as the matte. Now the logo will be revealed.
Spicing up the animation
To spice up this animate you can use the basic 3D effect and swivel both the logo and the original graphic to give a small 3D animation. Then you can use the VR digital glitch to make a color displacement on the logo, use this effect on an adjustment layer. Then apply a VR glow effect to enhance this glitch. You can always top it off with a glitch transition or bounce effect, which you can find on our website.
