Learn how to work with the Accusonus ERA tools to enhance and repair your audio in this Adobe Premiere Pro tutorial video.

Voice Equalizing in Premiere Pro

I’ve been struggling for a long time to equalize voice audio in Adobe Premiere Pro. Although I know what frequencies are important to change, I still could not get that warm voice.

About a year ago, I came across the ERA bundle from Accusonus. A collection of different plugins to enhance and repair audio. My favorite tool within is the Voice AutoEQ.

The plugin simply analyzes your audio and the only thing left for you to do is set the intensity and chose whether the sound needs more clarity, body or air. And the results are amazing!

Audio Repair

Within Adobe Premiere Pro we can already find a bunch of audio repair tools. Some of these kind of work, others not so much. I still believe that Premiere Pro lacks good audio repair tools. I mean, Audition has them, why can’t they bring some of those technologies to Premiere Pro?

Essentially the ERA bundle offers mostly the same audio repair tools. However, they work much more pleasant. You analyze your footage, press a button or move a slider and that’s it.

The results are also better than that what Premiere Pro can do. However, I do believe it’s just a matter of time before Premiere catches up.
