Why Time Remapping?
Time remapping is a fancy term for speeding up or slowing down your video. In Adobe Premiere Pro you can get really creative with this effect. Sadly, a lot of editors misuse this amazing tool, it’s super easy to mess up your speed ramp which is why I made this tutorial!
To make your speed ramp look super professional, add an adjustment layer and put it above your video. With the transform effect, scale up the clip at the moment the speed ramp starts. And now comes the trick, use the shutter angle to add motion blur. This emphasizes the zoom and speed effect and will result in a high quality speed ramp!

Why is it called ‘Speed Ramping’?
That’s simply because when you create smooth speed ramps, the graph will literally look like a ramp. You create these ramps so you have more control on how fast the clip will speed up or slow down. This gives you more control and helps you achieve a more professional look.
